Before you download:

Unless you are downloading a statically linked pre-built binary, make sure that you have at least one of the following graphics libraries:

• Xlib(comes with X11)
• libggi[GGI project homepage][Download] Please use a recent cvs snapshot.
• libsdl[SDL homepage]
• directfb[DirectFB homepage]

Since Xlib is shipped with the X11 Windowing System, which comes with practically all UNIX installations, you should be able to compile out of the box on most UNIXish systems.
Please note that, by default, most of the graphical features are disabled for better performance.

Downloading FreeSCI

Due to possibly unclean code in one of our kernel routines, older versions of FreeSCI (and the stable branch) are no longer available nor supported.
